Mother Ruth M. Taylor is a woman saved, sanctified, fire baptized and called to preach God's Word. She has been a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Inc. located at 4432 Piedmont Street, Orlando, FL 32811 where she has served faithfully for 45 years. She has served as the Sunshine Band Dept. Supervisor for 12 years, and as the assistant missionary president to Mother Mildred Priester for 4 years. She currently holds the position of President of the Women's Ministry and the Missionary department where she has headed outrach programs such as the nursing home ministry and the Sister-To-Sister Women's Retreat. She also founded the Sister-To-Sister Outreach Center. Mother Taylor was married to the late Mr. Levern Taylor for 44 years and she is the mother of four daughtersand one son; Anthony, Lucille, Sabrina, LaShawn, and Tachia.
Mother Taylor's passion for giving was evident even as a young child. She continued that giving nature when she served 35 years as a Head Start Teacher in Orange County. She has an AA Degree and CDA in Early Childhood Education. She has a sincere love for kids and young people; she always has an encouraging and teaching word for them.
Mother Taylor has overcome many obstacles, tragedies, and trials in her Christian journey. She has held strong to her faith and God has truly blessed her. She is very active and determined in her vision to reach out to women in her community.
Mother Taylor is a leader in her church and community. She not only leads by preaching God's Word, but she leads through living God's Word on a daily basis. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and shows love, teaches love, preaches love, and walks in love always.
Her determination and faithfulness to God's Word has inspired many in their Christian walk. Her strength and patience sets her apart from most everyday women. Mother Taylor is unique in every way and has taught women of all walks of like what true worship, sacrifice, and faithfulness is all about; not just through her words but also through her actions.
Her favorite song: "When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that He has done for me, my soul cries out Hallelujah."
Her favorite scripture: Psalms 34:1 - I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
